Ok, It’s only visible, if the “Show Chinese buttons” are enabled (in settings).
Once I’ve made it visible, it’s an inactive icon…

For us it’s not important, as we don’t use it, but…

    Animations in a JPG??
    Not possible.

What you can do is use the image transition for that purpose and split one animated slide in multiple images.

Or switch EasySlides temporarely out the life mode an use powerpoint for these complex presentations.

    Hi Solong,

Bug 1 is in fact a very nice feature: In real life, it happens a couple of times a year, that a lector reads more verses then was asked for. In such a case you can just continue and follow the lector.

Bug2: After entering a new item into a data base , it should be enough to switch to another database (songbook) and then back. Your new item will now be visible

    Hi Solong,

The problem with Powerpoint support is MicroSoft, not EasySlides development. It’s no longer supported .
The trick to bypass it, is simple:

Open your PPT and export it as JPG: You end up with a directory
with the name of your PPT and contents are Slide1.jpg etc.

You can drag this folder directly into the schedule, or use the new lowest button at the side of the schedule pane. Right click on it in order te set transistion, sequence and timing.

That’s all: Now you have a smooth Presentation, without all the screen flickers caused by the PPT engine in the past.

    Good luck

    Hi Monty,

I’ve created a small utility for you:

    bit.ly/ES5Loader

Put it in some folder and run it

The link is valid till nov, 14 2021
    Good luck

    Hi Monty,

It’s indeed a known and reported bug, which is hopefully repaired in the next release.

The easy way is to add a folder with one or more images, either by using the lowest icon (eight in the schedule pane; the one with the + sign) or just drag a folder directly from explorer into the schedule.
Right-click on it for options ( Rotating time, fading )

This is a (one of the) new feature of v5!

Goto ‘Tools’ and then ‘Export Language File’.

That’s your starting point to edit a new language file.

When finished: Mail it to: info@easyslides.com

    Good luck!

    Hi,

You have to use corflags, straight after installation of the verson 4 beta program.
I assume you stil have the installer, as it is no longer available on tje ES website,

    https://bit.ly/3gOfQfz

Copy this file to your ES program directory.

Go to Start and type cmd (don’t hit ENTER)
Above it you will see the file cmd.exe. Right click on it and run as administrator, click YES to allow.
In the (black) cmd box type “C:\Program Files (x86)\EasiSlides” followed by the <ENTER>
    key.

    type corflags.exe easislides.exe <ENTER>

    You will see:
    Version : v2.0.50727
    CLR Header: 2.5
    PE : PE32
    CorFlags : 1
    ILONLY : 1
    32BIT : 1
    Signed : 0

    now type:
    corflags.exe easislides.exe /32bit+ <ENTER>
(don’t forget to type the ‘+’ sign)

    again type type corflags.exe easislides.exe <ENTER>

    Now you will see:
    Version : v2.0.50727
    CLR Header: 2.5
    PE : PE32
    CorFlags : 3
    ILONLY : 1
    32BIT : 1
    Signed : 0

Notice that the value of Corflags has chanced to 3.

Now start EasiSlides normally and enjoy.

BTW: Current ES v5 has a lot more functionality and existing bugs in ES 4.1 are removed

    Hi Kyd,

    Maybe it’s marked for deletion?
Try the menu Tools- recover deledted items.

    Does that help??

If not, provide me a link, so I can have a look into this file.

IF you;re building a new pc, then the easiest way is FIRST to copy the easislidesdata folder to your new PC.
Then copy the file InitialConfig.xml from C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\EasiSlides to the new pc
Edit the file to reflect the location of the copied easislidesdata folder on the new pc:

If you already did an installation of ES5 , uninstall it and then remove the folder
    C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\EasYSlides (note: Easy… not easi…. folder )

Now start the ‘fresh’ installation of ES 5 and all your songbooks and bibles will be converted properly.

Re. Spanish translation: You can help by starting a language file: In the menu, tools an option exists’ export language file’ You can work on it and mail the result.

    Good luck.
