    Hi Wai,
Is there a way to extract a Song DB to an excel sheet or Word file instead of an XML?
I’m after just the song titles (1 & 2), writers, CCLI Ref; not the lyrics or lyrics setup, etc.

    Blessings
    James

    Hi James

Easyslides doesn’t have an option to export titles and CCLI info to excel/Word. You can use the third party software DB Browser to do it though:-

    1. Download DB Browser from https://sqlitebrowser.org/dl/
    2. Install and run DB Browser and keep the DB Browser app open.
    3. Navigate to the EasyslidesData folder (If you don’t know where that folder is then Start easyslides5 and click on the Folder icon at the menu toolbar which will open the EasyslidesData folder).
    4. Navigate to EasyslidesData\Admin\Databases
    5. Drag and drop the database you want into the DB Browser window
    6. At the DB Browser menu select the “Browser Data” tab and you will see a list of the lyrics in the database.
    7. Select menu option File->Export->Table as CSV file, then click save.
    8. Enter the export file name then save.
    9. The CSV File will be exported which you can then edit with excel.
    10. Close DB browser.

    Thanks Wai,
    I’ll give it a go.
Reason for asking we have one song DB where all the songs are syncd to mp3s, which is getting used a lot as we don’t have a lead musician at the moment. The DB is constantly having new songs added to it & I need to keep the service leaders informed of what we have available.

Hi James, I’m curious…how do you sync a song to an MP3? Can you sync a song to a MIDI file?

    Hi Solong,

If you have the corresponding lyrics, which can projected as usual, then add the MP3 through the media field in the settings tab. When this schedule-item comes life, the mp3 starts playing, and you only have to advance the text slides on the right moment.

    Hi Bert,
Wow! Never thought of that I’ll give it a try – could open up some interesting ideas – Thank you
