Regarding 2 – I think it will be confusing to allow customisation. If it helps, if you don’t use some of the tabs on the main window you can click and re-arrange them so that only the ones you use will be displayed first on start up.

KeymasterHi. I have replicated the issue with the original item not removed from the database. I will get that fixed in 5.0.2. When I delete the original, it is the original which is deleted though, not the new copy. Could you try again? Thanks

KeymasterHi. The field is limited to 100 characters but I can increase it to 500 in v5.0.2. For now you can edit the database directly but if you then try to edit the item through easyslides later, you will get a error message saying that the copyright characters are too long. Note also because of the long length of the copyright information the displayed text will be very small, and so in v5.0.2 I will limit the displayed copyright text to 100 characters.

KeymasterHi. Right hand side Output Panel->Data Panel->Height. You can also change it via Manage Schedules.
The Title and Copyright sizes are linked with the copyright smaller than the title. So if you change the height, both the title and the copyright size will change together, with the copyright size always smaller than the title.

Sorry I can’t replicate your error. Try creating a new schedule with new items and see if you still get the same problem.

Thanks for your reporting your issues.
Naming or RTD Documents – What you are seeing is by design. In v4, after generating a document, the documents opens. If you try to generate again, the generation will fail if that original generated document is still open. With v5, if the document is still open, the new generation won’t fail because a new document with an amended schedule name (increment by one number) is created. In your situation v5 incremented the file name, which is numeric, by one numeric number! I will update v5.0.2 so that the increment is by parenthesis instead, eg (1), (2), etc.
Is it possible to save the setup options, font sizes, etc – The setup should be saved every time you generate. I have added some additional settings in v5.0.2 and all settings will be saved.
Save the default template – Margins will be implemented in v5.0.2. Saving as a template is via the schedule. When you change settings to generate a document, those settings are saved to the current selected schedule. In v.5.0.2 there will be a default schedule template option which you can save to as default settings, which include your generated document settings with margins, etc.

KeymasterHi. The change in 5.0.1 was to consolidate the two folders. However, it is not working as well as it should. I will reset the folder back to “Admin>Templates>Individuals” in the next update (5.0.2) to keep the schedule and the individual templates separate. Thanks for your feedback.

With the next easyslides 5 update you will be able to create a default template for new schedules.

KeymasterLooks like a bug in Easyslides5. I will fix it in the next update. In the mean time, you can use menu option Edit->Copy to copy an item to a new database.

All the schedules are stored in the folder EasyslidesData\Admin\Schedules. To go to it, in Easyslides select menu option View->Easyslides Folder and then navigate to Admin\Schedules. All the files in there are your schedules and so you can delete them all if you want. Easyslides will always create a new default Worship Service schedule if the folder is empty.
