Copyright Info field

Hi WK,

Sorry to post another question, this one is about the Copyright info field of a database item.
These days with a lot of the new songs being co-written by 2 or more song writers/worship leaders the copyright info can get quite lengthy. e.g.
“Dancing On The Waves” according to Song Select, it was written by Andrew Bergthold, Ed Cash, Franni Cash, Kyle Briskin, Martin Cash & Scott Cash
the copyright info is:
© 2019 Andrew Bergthold Designee (Admin. by Capitol CMG Publishing)
Capitol CMG Genesis (Admin. by Capitol CMG Publishing)
Capitol CMG Paragon (Admin. by Capitol CMG Publishing)
Kyle Briskin Designee (Admin. by Capitol CMG Publishing)
We The Kingdom ASCAP Designee (Admin. by Capitol CMG Publishing)
We The Kingdom Music (Admin. by Capitol CMG Publishing)

But the field is limited, I think 98 characters (including spaces). I never know whether we need to include ALL these “publishers” or “Adminsitrators”, but is it possible to lengthen the field?
If it is, am I able to do that with the DB myself?
would it impact on the data panel?

Hi. The field is limited to 100 characters but I can increase it to 500 in v5.0.2. For now you can edit the database directly but if you then try to edit the item through easyslides later, you will get a error message saying that the copyright characters are too long. Note also because of the long length of the copyright information the displayed text will be very small, and so in v5.0.2 I will limit the displayed copyright text to 100 characters.
