    Hi tonniwei and weldonjd. Thanks for contributing to the forum. easyslides 5 folders works in a similar way to easislides 4, though easislides 4 is on c:\ drive and easyslides 5 is in ‘my documents’. You can still copy database files, or your complete easisldiesdata folder from one installation to another.

    In easislides 4 all the folders’ data are kept in one database file. In easyslides 5, each ‘folder’ are actually individual databases. There is now a link option in the Manage database option. So you can put one or more of your databases on a network share and in each of your easyslides installation, just link to the databases held on your shared drive. Of course you need to plan for contingency in case your network goes down and you can’t access the shared database.

    When it crashed does it give a reason? I had tried to trace the problem and it could be related to contiguous memory allocation. I will reduce the memory usage requirement in the next beta release to see it is helps.

    Hi Thienguan. If is likely that you have set the chorus at the beginning of the lyrics. Therefore when you press c, it goes to the chorus text which was the first text in your lyrics.

    There were some last minute changes to internal symbols just before beta4 release. I have made amendments to address the issue. Could you download again but you will need to uninstall v5b4 first and then re-install the amended v5b4.

    Could you download easyslides5b4 again as I have made a slight change in the code in case that was the cause to your problem. You will need to uninstall before you can reinstall the software. The problem could also be related to a particular item. Let me know how you get on. Thanks.
