Hi SongWai. I have put a new version of beta6 online. Could you uninstall your current beta6, then download beta6 again and install please.
The video will always be shown maximum size if set at 100%. However, the ratio of the video might not be exactly the same as the output screen. So:-
– if the height is too big, video will reduce in height to fit top and bottom – so you will see black bars on left and right.
– if the video is too wide, it will reduce in width to fit left and right – so you will see black bars at top and bottom (you can then align top/centre/bottom)Your other two issues:-
1. if use motion background, next page background will be empty. – Fixed in the new beta 6
2. i set the new Media Files path. but restart easyslides will be recovery to originally path。- I can’t replicate the problem, It works fine on my system.Hi Songwai. Sorry it didn’t fix your particular problem. I have updated beta 6 again and hopefully this time it does fix the issue. Could you download and install again. Thanks

I am sorry but Powerpoint is not supported in v5. The Microsoft COM interop file which easyslides uses has not been updated by Microsoft since 2007. This means newer version powerpoint slides will not be displayed properly, with transitions not working and timings off. It just wasn’t reliable enough and therefore I removed the functionality from v5.
If you don’t have powerpoint software, Microsoft provides a free online version. You can view and edit powerpoint files, so long as you have a Microsoft account which is free. Details are at:-

The clear text (F3) now works for multicast confidence monitor in Beta 6. Confidence Monitor now has two modes:-
Subtitle Mode
Detailed ModeNote: The clear text will only work in subtitle mode.
By the way you mentioned about using remote Confidence Monitor with OBS. It will be interesting to know how you get on with testing because multicast could be affected by your LAN bandwidth, the traffic, the power of your PC, and if the easyslides multicast function works reliably.

I think this is a bug in windows media player control which easyslides 5 uses, and relates to certain file types only. Volume and mute will not work for .mid file but will work on other files like mp3, mpg, etc.

Beta 6 is now available, could you see if you still have the same problem? Also if you wish, you can email me (info@easyslides.com) your export file and I will see if I can replicate the problem.

Easyslides multicast works on Windows PC/laptops only. The easyslides multicast receive option on a wireless PC/laptop has an option to see one screen or one full verse at a time.
An Android beta multicast version will be available soon (no notations though).

The best way is to create a blank infoscreen (with a blank ‘space’ on first line), or select your Bible passages, then add to schedule. When it is on the schedule, use individual settings to add the audio media and picture background if you wish. When it goes live, if the media is a audio format (MP3, WMA, etc) then easyslides will shown the normal lyrics background and play the audio.

Hi Herb. Thanks for pointing out that it only happens when settings tab is being viewed. I have recreated the issue and have identified the problem. It will be fixed in the next release.
I can’t replicate the problem. It seems to work fine on my system. Is the textbox light blue in colour (ie. has focus) and if so, type to keep on typing. It could be just that the cursor is not showing.
