Is it possible to set easy slides to use files stored in one drive. It would mean we could set up our services from home computers by sharing the folders instead of having to go to the church to set them up on the computer there.

    Any help or suggestions appreciated.

Hi Gerald. Sorry but sharing the data file directly on cloud networks such as onedrive is not possible. However, in v5.2 RC1 it is possible to export a schedule from one computer and import it into a second computer.

    Details about v5.2 RC1 is at:- https://www.easyslides.com/main/v5/52beta/

So in your situation, install v5.2 RC1 on your home computer and on the church computer. Then at your home computer, set up the schedule with lyrics, videos, Bible verses, etc. as if you were at the church computer. Export the schedule and save it to usb (or onedrive?). On the day of worship, at your church computer import the package you had exported from your home computer. The imported schedule will be a replica of what you had set up at home, with any associated media and image files. The only limitation is that Bible passages are converted to Infoscreens and therefore you cannot progress beyond the referenced Bible passages with the up/down arrow keys.

However, in v5.2 RC2 to be released shortly, there will be an option for the imported Infoscreens with Bible passages to be converted back to actual Bible Passages so long as import computer has the same Bibles (names) as your home computer.

Hope the above helps in your situation.

I have been doing precisely what you ask for some time now without any problems. I redirected the EasyslidesData folder to a folder on my Onedrive. I can then prepare my service on my main desktop PC and it will be synced automatically to my laptop which I can then take down to the church for services. Hoping this helps you get the most out of this excellent program.
