Cool. I saw that option but didn’t play around with it yet. When you link the folder, does it sync “schedules” as well? Thanks.

A workaround I found is to copy another song that has the same sequence layout and copy the text into it and change the title. Just don’t make any changes to the sequence and leave the verse and chorus headings the same.

I wanted a similar solution. I run it on multiple computers in our building and like for the database to be synced. Here’s my workaround using a cloud service like dropbox or box:

    – Install and run easyslides on computer (When you install and run for the first time, it creates a folder called EasySlidesData in your Documents folder)
    – Move EasySlidesData folder into a synced folder with your cloud drive provider (synced folder must auto-download updates to your computer)
    – Rerun easyslides
    – you will be prompted that your data folder is missing
    – click the folder icon to “choose the following folder” navigate to where you just moved your EasySlidesData folder
    – Easyslides will now run from the folder you have synced to the cloud
    – Install and run easyslides on second computer
    – delete newly created EasySlidesData folder
    – rerun easyslides
    – you will be prompted that your data folder is missing
    – click the folder icon to “choose the following folder” navigate your synced EasySlidesData folder on secondary computer (you will either need to be logged into the same cloud service account, or share the folder with a separate account. I’ve done it both ways)

This method allows me to update songs in the database and worship schedules from a remote computer that is not used to display the songs during the service

Issues I’ve experienced with this workaround:
    – If you have the program open on multiple computers at the same time, or if you open it on one computer before cloud service has synced the folder, your cloud service will duplicate files for your database causing extra worship schedules to be created.
    – anytime I add a computer to the mix, the background images for my schedules need to be reset
    – when adding a song to the database, you must refresh before it will show in your list (click the dropdown carrot above your song list and click your database again, or close and reopen easyslides)

Let me know if you can’t figure it out.

I just tried with all of the other headings that use text (pre-chorus, bridge, ending, etc.) all of them cause the issue. My guess is the script to enter the song sequence into the database only allows numerals.

I am having a similar problem. I tried to save a new song and program crashed. I was able to narrow my issue down to having the “chorus” listed in the “sequence”. If I leave the chorus out it will save without issue.
