running v5 beta but tried to install v5 comes up with newer version already installed. if i uninstall 5beta will i loose database songs

You must be running beta 7 or earlier. With beta 8 onwards there was an internal renaming of the versions and hence you get that error message.
Please go ahead and uninstall your beta version, and then install the final release version. You won’t lose any data.
