Do you have a sound file or a video file which is not playing with sound during a live show? Could you explain more?

I’ve tried playing media (video) in the service (schedule) but only the video plays, no sound. However on two occasions I have an information slide and “in Christ Alone plays in the background complete with sound and video, together with the information text at the same time.
I am trying to project a service of video hymns rather than text which has to be moved on all the time. Many years ago I used EasySlides and found it so useful. Now I’m in my 70’s and trying to project services once again. Thank you so much
    God bless

Hi Ralph. It could be because the sound is muted. Try this:-
    1. Select the item on the source pane.
    2. In the middle pane select the settings tab.
    3. Tick the “Use individual settings” checkbox.
    4. Click Media
    5. Make sure the Mute checkbox is unticked.
6, click OK and go live.

I’ve followed the instructions above, but unfortunately still no sound. The video is playing on the live screen. Source option number 3. Mute unchecked.

Easyslides uses Windows Media Player control to play media. So try playing it using Windows Media Player to make sure it plays. Then try again in easyslides, and at the output pane, make sure the speaker icon is not muted and also the volume control is up.

Thanks, I’m still trying, some that are without sound seem to be because of .opus codec preventing it in media player 12 / windows11
    Best regards

Glad you found a way for playing your video with audio.
