Unable to enter correct range of Bible passage

Example: Need “Isaiah 49:14-51:3”; However, Error output as “Isaiah 49:14-57:6”.

(This bug is repeatable).

I can confirm that the problem of long Bible passages is solved.

However, a new problem has surfaced. When typing in Bible reference, the input cursor is DESELECTED after each keystroke of NUMBERS. For example: When typing “Isaiah 6:1”, I have to mouse click the input field after “6”, after “:”, and after “1”. I didn’t have this problem before. Are you able to replicate this problem?

I can’t replicate the problem. It seems to work fine on my system. Is the textbox light blue in colour (ie. has focus) and if so, type to keep on typing. It could be just that the cursor is not showing.

I have just updated to V5 Beta 5 and am able to recreate this

The reference entry box is blue when I click into it and begin entering a reference; however, when just enough reference is entered to update the middle preview pane, the preview section is updated, the reference entry box turns white, and focus is set to “Use Individual Settings” in the bottom section of the preview pane.

Please note: this only happens if the “Settings” tab is selected in the preview pane. If either “Images” or “Notes” are selected, the problem doesn’t occur.

Hi Herb. Thanks for pointing out that it only happens when settings tab is being viewed. I have recreated the issue and have identified the problem. It will be fixed in the next release.

Thanks Herb for the extra information. In the meantime, I just need to remember not to have the “Settings” tab selected when choosing my Bible passages. This forum and the people here are a great blessing. Much appreciated.
