I can’t center the font on my slide. I found that there is a big gap on the left side of the slide. I don’t know how to remove it.

Hi. This could be one of two things.

    1. Sometimes when the screen resolution is updated when easyslides is live, then the output will not show correctly, like the image in your post. If you quit out and back it then it should reset.

    2. It could be you left/right margin setting. Its either in the database setting (Mangage->Databases) or in the Individual settings (Bottom of Middle pane). Change your left/right margins as appropriate.

The picture above was taken from the preview. After I updated the program, it looked like this when I opened it.
My left and right distance settings are original

I can’t replicate the issue on my system. Are you still getting the problem. Also, are you using a splitter, ie. sharing the output with projector and an additional screen?

    Hi WK,

This seems to be an issue with ours as well. This is on the live output. We currently have v5.2 RC4.

    hi jmcimsaskatchewan

In your situation, are you getting a large blank space on the right, or just the text not centering? if it is just the text not centering, could you test by changing the font to something like Arial and make sure it is not bold? Thanks

    Hi WK,

Thank you for your suggestion. When I switched it to ARIAL, it doesnt seem to happen but the main font that we use is VERDANA and it is pretty much aligned more to the right even though the alignment setting is “center”.

    Thank you
