KeymasterIts difficult to know what the problem in your situation. Easyslides uses Windows media player for playing files in its code. So you can try and run Windows media Player on its own first in case it needs setting up. Once that is done, try and run easyslides 5 again with media.

KeymasterHi James
Easyslides doesn’t have an option to export titles and CCLI info to excel/Word. You can use the third party software DB Browser to do it though:-
1. Download DB Browser from https://sqlitebrowser.org/dl/
2. Install and run DB Browser and keep the DB Browser app open.
3. Navigate to the EasyslidesData folder (If you don’t know where that folder is then Start easyslides5 and click on the Folder icon at the menu toolbar which will open the EasyslidesData folder).
4. Navigate to EasyslidesData\Admin\Databases
5. Drag and drop the database you want into the DB Browser window
6. At the DB Browser menu select the “Browser Data” tab and you will see a list of the lyrics in the database.
7. Select menu option File->Export->Table as CSV file, then click save.
8. Enter the export file name then save.
9. The CSV File will be exported which you can then edit with excel.
10. Close DB browser.wk

KeymasterHi. Sorry to hear about the issues you are facing. Could I suggest doing the following:-
1. Exit easyslides
2. Rename the EasyslidesData Folder (located at …Documents\EasyslidesData) to something like EasyslidesDataOld
3. Start easyslides 5
4. As there is no EasyslidesData folder, Easyslides 5 will create a default one.
5. If easyslides runs without any issue, then it narrows the problem down to some data in the original EasyslidesData folder.Let me know how you get on.

KeymasterIt’s the same situation with all software like Word, Excel, etc. You use the software on the understanding that the developer has given his word that there is no malware in the program. If the software is infected by a third party after download then that is a different issue. I can confirm, as the developer and even more so as a Christian, that Easyslides does not have any malware built in.

KeymasterHi. To translate:-
1. Start easyslides, and make sure the language is English
2. Menu->Tools-?Export Language File
3. When prompt appears, click export
4. A default language file will open (english.txt), as will the outputs folders.
5. The file will have 3 columns each divided by a tab space.
6. Column 1 is the reference number – do not amend
7. Column is the English menu text
8. Column 3 is the language text you want – so replace it with your language
9. For reference number 3 column 3, Replace the word English with your language name, eg. Lithuanian
10. For reference number 4 column 3, Replace the ‘…’ with name of person who did translation
11. For reference number 5 column 3, Replace the ‘…’ with date of translation in format DD-MM-YYYY, eg 28-02-2033
12. When finished, save the file name something like lithuanian.txt
13. Copy the file to the folder ..EasyslidesData\Admin\Languages
14. Restart Easyslides and when you click on the language option, your new language file will appear as one of the options.
15. If you want to share the translation with other users, email the file to info@easyslides.com and I will put it on the easyslides website so that others can download it from within easyslides.wk
KeymasterIts the button beside the Manage database button at the folder dropdown list. Some Chinese/Japanese/Korean language users prefer to list the titles by the number of words in the title instead of by stroke count.

KeymasterHi
The stage display can replicate a near live display. However, video output is not supported and the bottom display panel details are not shown.
To replicate a near live screen, do this:-
1. Select the Stage Display you want to use in General Settings
2. For location, select the secondary monitor you want, or use custom to set your own custom co-ordinates for output.
3. Select Subtitle Mode.
4. Untick all the subtitle Mode checkboxes and click OK.
5. Go LiveThe layout will not always be as exactly as the live output because font adjustments are calculated separately from the live screen. However, in most cases, the output will be very similar to the live output.
