Please note: this only happens if the “Settings” tab is selected in the preview pane. If either “Images” or “Notes” are selected, the problem doesn’t occur.

I have just updated to V5 Beta 5 and am able to recreate this

The reference entry box is blue when I click into it and begin entering a reference; however, when just enough reference is entered to update the middle preview pane, the preview section is updated, the reference entry box turns white, and focus is set to “Use Individual Settings” in the bottom section of the preview pane.
