Unable to install v5 final.

Hi there,

I have tried several times to install EasySlides v.5 Final but no success. I even use an uninstaller program to uninstall previously installed Beta versions.

After each install of the Final version, the program launches but each time the SAME error message appears… “The path is not of a legal form.”
I click on “OK” and the program closes.

This happened also for v.5rc4, therefore I am only able to successfully install and run RC3.

What am I doing wrong? Anyone else having the same problem? It would be great if I can get v.5 Final up and running.

Hope someone has the solution for my problem. Thanks in advance.

Hi tonniwei

Sorry to hear about your installation issue. It could be corrupt info in the settings file.

Try the following:-
– Exit out of Easyslides
– In the EasyslidesData folder navigate to \Admin\UserProfiles
– Delete the XML file(s) in that folder – before deleting, could you make a copy and email to me?
– Go also to \Admin\Schedules
– Delete all the files in it – before deleting, could you make copies and email to me?
– Restart Easyslides

Send the copies to me at info@easyslides.com so that I can check for issues in them for future fixes.
